Our mission at Lazar Art Advisory is to facilitate the presence of art in people's lives. This mission is achieved by two main streams. The first stream consists of art education. Dr. Lazar’s courses have been invariably described as “transformative”, “opening the world of art to me”, “I found that I can use my analytical skills too in the study of art”. We offer a brand array of programs ranging from group lessons (specifying the intended skill level of participants) to fully customized programs for an individual or a private group. Dr. Lazar’s deep and original approach to teaching people how to interact with visual art will impart skills that you will be able to use on your own in future art excursions. Some of our strongest responses follow courses that do not presuppose any knowledge or experience with art.. All programs are conceived and taught by Dr. Lazar (unless explicitly noted differently). These courses are built on a deep experience that has been honed in teaching at the University of Chicago. The second stream of enhancing lives with art consists in selecting, appraising, installing and fully aiding a client in the purchase of sale of artworks. Great art enhances every space whether it be a home, an office, a performance venue, a library or a hotel lobby. We believe that good art is for everyone and may be obtained with good advice at many different price points starting with very modest budgets. We would like to allow as many people as possible to experience and enjoy art. Good art will elevate every space by presenting us with new ideas, by challenging, motivating and humanizing us. We bring art to you by selecting the right works to fit your needs, values, tastes and budget from a local and global network of art sources.
